Measurement Guide
FoxHeaven harnesses have adjustable straps. You provide your measurements so we build the harness with the adjustment range centred on your body. Here is how to measure correctly so every buckle and strap sits exactly where it should.
What you need
- A soft measuring tape (the kind used for sewing)
- A helper is useful but not required
- Measure in centimetres
- Wear fitted clothing or measure against bare skin
Bulldog Harness
Two measurements are needed for the Bulldog.
Tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level and snug but not tight.
From the centre of your chest (sternum), over the shoulder, to the top of the shoulder blade.
Ares Harness
Five measurements are needed for the Ares. The first two are the same as the Bulldog.
3 - Waist circumference - narrowest part of waist
4 - Thigh circumference - fullest part of upper thigh
5 - Upper body height - shoulder top straight down to hip bone
Tips
- Measure at your natural resting size - the straps handle fine adjustment from there
- Add 1-2 cm if you wear the harness over a fursuit or thick clothing
- Subtract 1 cm for a tighter look in photos - the straps give you room either way
- If you are unsure, add a note in the Custom notes field and we will advise before production
