Terms and Conditions

By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them before purchasing.

1. General Information

FoxHeaven Studio is the trade name of Pinkóczi Kornél, a sole trader registered in Hungary. The operator is exempt from VAT under Hungarian law (alanyi adómentes). All prices are listed in Hungarian Forint (HUF).

2. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern every order placed through www.foxheavenstudio.com. By completing the checkout process and clicking "Place Order", you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

Use of the website is permitted only to persons aged 18 years or older. By continuing past the age verification prompt you confirm you are at least 18 years of age.

3. Products

All products are handmade to order. Each item is manufactured individually after payment is confirmed; no finished-goods inventory is held.

Product listings include indicative dimensions and photographs. Colours may appear slightly different on screen due to monitor calibration. Custom colour, hardware, measurement and engraving selections are recorded at the time of purchase and cannot be changed once production has begun.

4. Ordering Process

1. Add items to cart and proceed to checkout.

2. Provide accurate delivery details and measurements as prompted.

3. Review your order summary, then click "Place Order".

4. Payment is processed immediately via Stripe.

5. You will receive an order confirmation email. This email constitutes acceptance of your order.

Production typically begins within 1-3 business days of payment confirmation. Lead time is 1-4 weeks depending on the current queue and product complexity.

5. Prices and Payment

All prices are in HUF and include no VAT (operator is VAT-exempt under Hungarian law).

Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. Accepted methods include Visa, Mastercard, and other cards supported by Stripe. Your card details are never stored on our servers.

An order is confirmed only after payment has been successfully authorised. If payment fails, the order is not created.

6. Shipping

We ship within Hungary and to EU member states via MPL, FoxPost, and GLS couriers through the Kvikk platform.

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout before payment. Once your parcel is handed to the courier, a tracking number is sent by email.

Delivery times are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, customs, or events beyond our control.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Because all products are manufactured to your personal specifications (custom colour, hardware, measurements, and engraving), they fall under the exception to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal pursuant to Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and § 29 (1) c) of the Hungarian Consumer Protection Decree (45/2014. (II. 26.) Korm. rendelet).

You may not return a product solely because you changed your mind after production has started.

8. Warranty and Defective Goods

If your item arrives damaged or contains a production defect, please notify us at [email protected] within 7 days of delivery as our preferred internal procedure. Include your order number and clear photographs of the defect.

We will offer repair, replacement, or a refund at our discretion and cost. Normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, or damage resulting from activities beyond the product's intended use are not covered.

Important: your statutory warranty rights under Hungarian law (373/2021. Korm. rendelet, implementing EU Directive 2019/771) remain in full force for 2 years from the date of delivery, regardless of when you notify us. The 7-day period above is an internal guideline to help us act quickly — it is not a deadline for asserting your legal warranty rights.

9. Intellectual Property

All product designs, photographs, brand names, logos, and website content are the exclusive property of FoxHeaven Studio. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any material without prior written consent.

Purchasing a product grants you a personal, non-commercial licence to use photographs of that product for personal purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the value of the goods in question.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, data, or opportunity.

These limitations do not apply to liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, and do not apply in cases of personal injury or death. Nothing in these Terms restricts any statutory rights you have as a consumer under applicable law (Hungarian Civil Code, Ptk. 6:152. §).

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data provided during registration and checkout (name, delivery address, email address, measurements) is processed solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and providing customer support.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except as necessary for order fulfilment (courier services, payment processor). Our Privacy Policy contains full details.

12. Cookies

This website uses strictly necessary session cookies for login functionality and the shopping cart. No tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are used. See the cookie notice displayed on your first visit.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a complaint, please contact us first at [email protected]. We aim to resolve all disputes amicably within 15 business days.

If the complaint cannot be resolved directly, EU consumers may use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

Hungarian consumers may contact the Veszprém County Conciliation Board (Veszprémi Békéltető Testület, 8200 Veszprém, Radnóti tér 1., tel: +36 88 814-116) or any competent regional conciliation board. See www.bekeltetes.hu for the full list of boards.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any dispute not resolved by conciliation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Hungarian courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

15. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order. For material changes (those that affect your rights or obligations), we will notify registered account holders by email at least 15 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
